God and guns

I was gonna do a blog about the atheist rally in Washington D.C. yesterday, it really pissed me off when I read about it on Friday, but I decided that they don't need anymore attention. They don't feel like they have equality. Are you fkn' kidding me? God is being pushed out of everywhere. Believe whatever you want to believe and I'll do the same. You keep your mouth shut and so will I. Enough of that. I had a good day yesterday. I brought a really good friend of mine to her pistol permit class and got to do some shooting myself. Great stress relief! Guns, another thing that's under fire. When are people gonna realize that banning guns isn't the answer? It's been proven over and over that when guns are banned, crime increases. One of the first things Hitler did when he came into power was ban gun ownership by citizens. What does that tell you? I have had my pistol permit for over twenty years and I hope to God (Yes, I said God, if I offended you, too bad) that I never have to use a gun to defend myself or anyone else, but I like the fact that I have that option. I follow the laws, like most other legal gun owners, so leave us alone and go after the bad guys using guns wrong. A little bit of history, world war 2 would have been completely different if gun ownership was banned in the U.S. Japan was going to invade mainland U.S., but decided against it because of so many armed citizens. The bottom line, guns in the right hands is a good thing! Thanks for listening, Kevin
P.S. I saw this video today, maybe this would work.  Right! Lol

  1. Some of my friends (good friends) are totally against gun ownership period. Our licences are due for renewal and we are in the midst of applying in a new state and because we are no long primary producers with a large holding we are facing a few set-backs. However, we will get around them and legally. We have a stunning collection (all legal with registration) and now gaining new licences.
It was essential having our rifles on the property in Tas, for lots of reasons - vermin, and putting an animal in pain down humanely and I as a woman, will never NOT be armed when living in isolated areas in particular. I knew a family who experienced a home invasion in the next village over and on this blog I will not relate what happened to her and her daughter, it will never happen to me. Having said all of that I fully understand that some people are never meant to have or feel comfortable with any kind of fire arm. Anyway Kevin, you're about to start a new week mate, and may it be great, challenging and besides......it's another week down and ticked off for that awful "settling in period"...

  2. I'm happy to hear that you have your protection if needed. I thought guns were banned in Australia a couple of years ago, am I misinformed? Yeah Rose, that settling in period gets a bit better each day.

  3. Been said before-when guns are outlawed-only outlaws will have guns..And I will then be an outlaw..People who were caught with guns in Nazi Germany were in serious trouble-some were whipped to death with steel whips..The way I see it there are two major things to protect your guns against-rust and politicians..Can't really do anything good with a gun--but (like in Rose's example)you can stop alot of bad from happening..enforce the laws that they already have (too many already)and leave the good guys alone..

    1. Check out the video I added Jim. You think it might work? The sad part is alot of politicians would probably think that it would.
