What must He be thinking?
Let me start by saying, this is not going to be a religious blog. I haven't been to church in years, but I do believe in God and He has got to be looking down on all of us with such disappointment. If you don't believe in God that's your choice, that's fine. Don't tell me I'm wrong and I won't tell you that you're wrong. I don't care what you believe in, but if you're somewhat sane, you have to be appalled, shocked, disgusted, nauseous, just plain fed-up etc. at the way this society is turning out. Just look around at how people around you are behaving, than check out national news and then world news. Are you happy with the way things are going? My plans for this blog were to bring up stories that are in the news now, but I don't know where to begin, quite honestly. Just between the psychos and the politicians, I don't know where to start. And this is all over the world! C'mon people let's wake up! Does anybody like reading or hearing the news anymore? I don't! I'm sick of hearing about the murdered or missing children, decapitated girlfriends, children shooting children in school, the civil wars and atrocities that happen around the world, and politicians lying to all of us all around the world, on top of it all. I don't think that the world is going to end on 12/21/12, but I don't think it's gonna get better anytime soon. Thanks for listening, Kevin

I agree with you 100% Kevin. It is so sad with the way this whole world is in chaos. Everytime I go online or watch a show, I am in shock at all the violence and especially at what is happening to our children in our country and other countries. Pure sickening.. all I can say is GOD Help Us ALL!!

ReplyDeleteI agree Rose, there is definatly still alot of beauty around us everyday along with the bad. Maybe it's God's way of showing us that He is still here. Well I hope you enjoy your best mate's wedding and it turns out better than you're making it sound. Lol
DeleteYea-Like you said-What must HE be thinking...Can't speak for anyone else, like you said -believe what you will..Start to feel kinda helpless sometimes, powerless to have any effect on things..Myself, I try to be as helpful as I can, either to my friends or to a stranger in need..Send a few dollars to a couple of my favorite charities and really try to keep my name from appearing on GOD'S list of people he wants to talk to..Other than thanking him for the day to day miracles that we take for granted, I do my best not to draw his attentions to me. The answers are known in our hearts and souls but we are stifled by dogma and social stigmas-finacial needs-and our own busy lives. His creation has not failed-the beautiful universe works as it should--I believe only a very small part of his creation is somewhat lacking in the inherent beauty of creation--humanity and I would like to think that it is a small but VERY influential part of humanity---'nuff said..Hang in there Kevin and Shelly
ReplyDeleteI think you're right Jim, the good outweigh the bad, but when it's the bad making the headlines and news all the time, they start to seem like the majority. And I think I might be on His list already, but I'm hoping if I live long enough, and don't screw up like I used to, He will cross my name off. We'll see. lol
